A word of introduction...

I had been wanting to do fantasy Norse for quite some time, though I didn't want them to be just vikings with a few fantasy models thrown in. I needed an angle and found it in a place I didn't expect: the Lucifer graphic novels.

One of the storylines involved Jotun, the land of the frostgiants and it not only supplied a colour scheme, but also the fluff. Because as one of the characters in the story explains: "giant" is just a word and it doesn't mean that all who have the blood of the giants in them are of gigantic proportions. So it means my Norse could have various sizes, ranging from dwarfsized, over human-, to ogre- and, indeed, giantsized.
